Choose the category by purchase risk, not by style name. Fit-heavy items need measurement checks, detail-heavy items need close-up photos, and tech items need compatibility notes.

Check size conversion, toe shape, material texture, sole photos, and whether the listing still has the specific option you want.

How to choose the right category
Choose by the main item type first. A branded hoodie belongs with hoodies, not with accessories or general finds. A small crossbody belongs with bags, even if it is styled like a fashion accessory. Similar items are easier to compare because they raise the same questions.
If a product could fit two categories, use the category with the biggest purchase risk. For example, a watch should be treated as a watch because case size, dial detail, clasp quality, and close-up photos matter more than general accessory browsing.
Before opening a category link
